Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was one of the bravest freedom fighters of the Indian freedom struggle. Bose emerged as the natural leader of the radical wing of the Indian National congress in his youth and also became the Congress President in 1938 and 1939. He was one of the pioneers for stressing the importance of complete independence from the British which led to differences with Mahatma Gandhi. Due to this, he left the Congress and founded the Indian National Army (INA). He tried to get the help of the Nazi army during the World War II to free India from the British which left certain ambivalent legacy. Irrespective of that, he was a visionary, an intellectual, a great patriot and a charismatic leader. He died in mysterious circumstances in a plane crash on 18 August 1945. Unfortunately, his death mystery is more discussed and written about in the recent years and there are still various conspiracy theories with no agreement on the actual date of his death. During his time as a Congress President and as the founder of INA he inspired millions of people with his strong patriotic speeches and statements.
